R.I.P. Tiny

Filed under: Uncategorized — chad @ 3:52 pm

Tiny was my dog, a beautiful English Mastiff. He recently passed away and took a piece of my heart with him when he died. He was a wonderful, sweet dog in so many ways. He was very friendly and never met a stranger. He loved to be petted and rubbed. He really liked to have his belly rubbed.

I am happy to know that we where able to honor Tiny with a pet memorial urns Or Urns for pet ashes We got a photo pet urn and were able to take our favorite picture of Tiny and now we have it to remember him by.

Tiny was a big comfort to me in his own way. He would stay by my feet when I sat in my favorite chair to read a book or watch television. He would accompany me to the door when the doorbell rang as if he were my strong protector. I will miss him every time I sit in my chair or open the front door.

Tiny had many personal items around the house. He had a special pillow beside my bed where he slept every single night. His toys are still strewn around the house because I miss him so much that I can’t bear to put them away just yet. His chew toys and bones are all over the floor in memory to him. His food and water bowl are still on the kitchen floor where they always sat. I know I will have to put these items away in due time.

I know that Tiny’s soul is in a good place because he was such a good dog and companion. I buried his body in a special place in the backyard and put up a marker with his name on it. I want his memory to live on forever for those who knew him.

I hope that Tiny can rest in peace in his special place in the yard. I have set up a bench next to his marker so I can go and sit next to him when I miss him. I can think about all of the good times we had together like the day I first got him, the day he learned to follow my commands, and the day we spent cleaning the carpets when he tracked mud everywhere. Tiny, I love you and I miss you so much.

Loss of a Pet

Losing a pet can be a traumatic experience, especially for those who see their pet as an important piece of their family. Thus, it is normal to experience a period of grief and mourning. When this happens, it is important to take the time to deal with your emotions and to work your way through this pain. You might want to purchase pet urns for your lost pet.
First off, listen to your feelings and articulate them in as many different ways as possible. Talk to friends and family members. Additionally, you should try and express how you feel in other ways too: try having a memorial for your pet, writing poetry, or even starting a journal.
You should also keep as busy as possible. You need to live your live. You can take time off of work and from seeing friends and family members, but you do not want to isolate yourself for too long. Make plans with friends, join a support group, and try to do good things for yourself while you can.
Lastly, give yourself some time before you do animal related things like going to the zoo or watching a dog show. If you are thinking about getting a new pet, be sure that you are going into it with the right intentions. You do not want to get the same kind of pet. You can not replace the pet you lost, and this is important to realize when looking for a new animal to bring home with you.
